STONE AND MULCH CENTER PRODUCTS
We carry most products in many styles & colors for your landscape projects
Topsoil
Our topsoil is double screened to ensure most pebbles & rocks are removed. With a perfect mixture of sand & silt, it has a loamy texture that binds together well. Placing this soil in areas where there is a lot of clay and rocks will help rejuvenate your yard & build a strong layer for plants to build roots.
TIP: ADDING COMPOST CAN HELP FERTILIZE YOUR PLANT!
Compost
Using an all organic compost shows best results. It creates a healthy environment for you & your yard. This compost is a mixture of manure & other organic matter. With good drainage & a hardy amount of nutrients, fruiting plants will thrive in this soil.
TIP: COMPOST IS A VERY STRONG COMPONENT & IT IS ADVISED TO USE A VERY THIN LAYER IF USED TO FERTILIZE GRASS OR FLOWERING PLANTS. A TOPSOIL MIXTURE WOULD BE A MORE MILD CHOICE.
Topsoil Mix
Mixing topsoil, compost & sand makes a great combination to help give your lawn a head start. It is a more mild choice for plants that may burn in just compost. The sand helps to filter out any rocks that were not caught by the screening. This is a strong soil that can support any plant.
TIP: THIS SOIL IS BEST FOR SEEDING OR FOR GARDEN BEDS. YOUR FLOWERS WILL LOVE IT!
Premium Hardwood
A standard double shredded hardwood mulch. Made up of stumps, bark, & branches, this is perfect for a low profile, simple look.
TIP: CHEAP, EFFORTLESS WAY TO REFRESH YOUR YARD'S LOOK.
Premium Brown Hardwood
A finer shed than the Premium Hardwood, the Premium Brown has a darker appearance but there is no dye added. It is perfect for those who turn away from the dyed mulch but still love the dark brown look.
TIP: THE FINER SHREDDED IS EASIER TO SPREAD & IT LAYS SOFT.
Fine Pine
This is a fine shred of pine mulch, with a flaky texture. It has both light & dark colors mixed in for great contrast. The acidic wood will complement the vibrant colors in your yard.
TIP: PINE GOES GREAT WITH ACID LOVING PLANTS SUCH AS AZALEAS OR BOXWOODS.
Stone Dust
Crushed stone can be used as a 2nd layer under pavers

Brown & Black Dyed Mulch
Mulching your yard can be an easy solution to a problem area. With a non-toxic dye, our mulch will give a rich color all season. Dyed mulch can add color or accent other features in your yard. It also can help insulate roots to keep them from freezing in the colder months.
TIP: DO NOT LAY MULCH WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RAINFALL. LAYING THE MULCH ON A TARP CAN HELP KEEP FROM STAINING.
Brown, Red & Black Blend Mulch
A fine shed & very rich in color, the blended mulch can only be found at Stone and Mulch Center. Consisting of 100% hardwood bark, this mulch will add beneficial humus to your soil as it decomposes.
TIP: DO NOT LAY MULCH WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RAINFALL. LAYING THE MULCH ON A TARP CAN HELP KEEP FROM STAINING.
#57 Gravel
Standard driveway gravel, also best for drainage.
21-A Gravel
Best for compacting, leveling out areas.
